Hi everyone,
So I've downloaded a few of the Wii U virtual console games during the promotion, and thus far I've only played them on the Wii U gamepad, and everything is running fine. However, tonight, when I tried to play Kirby's Adventure, I decided to play on the TV and I've been having terrible sound issues. Most of the music drops out, with only the occasional bit of sound coming through. I tried Punch-Out to a similar problem, the music sounded extremely fuzzy and distorted. But everything sounded fine on the Gamepad's speakers.
I also tried F-Zero, which seemed to be fine on my TV or the Gamepad, so this issue seems to only affect the sound of NES VC games through my TV. I'm running through HDMI at 1080p directly into the TV. I do not have a stereo or receiver and the sound is going right from the TV speakers. All other games seem to sound fine, it's just the Virtual Console NES games that give me an issue.
