Today, I came home from work and started up my Wii U with the Gamepad. The buttons all were/are working fine, but trying to touch the touchscreen has suddenly turned into an issue. Trying to tap onto my user account creates a cycling between it and creating a new user. When I finally find a point on the touchscreen that registers properly, it takes forever for a proper response even though the background and the analog buttons all seem to still be responding properly (B button exits screens right away). Trying to click on the system settings button forced it to swap places with other apps on the menu as well as suspending it on the menu and not allowing me to click on other buttons. Calibration didn't wortk because the touch screen isn't registering the taps. Tried calling Nintendo for information about maybe something that needs to be repaired, but couldn't get through. Is there any idea what may have caused this/what I need to do to get it fixed? The system wasn't touched from the last time it properly worked, but I did do a full system update yesterday. Could that be the cause?
