I sent my Wii U in and want some info

Okay, I've never had any problems before with my Nintendo products, but this is upsetting.  I sent in my Wii for repair a while back to fix the disc reader and got it back with all my memory and the disc drive perfectly fixed and working before for around 90 bucks with tax and everything.  Still, I never would have sent it in if I knew I was going to lose all my Wii data when the Wii U came out after sending in my console again.

I sent in my Wii U for repair (#8836285) because it kept freezing when playing Nintendo Land with a loud buzzing sound.  I got my console back and updated it to the latest update and couldn't download the update for Nintendo Land and all four of the channels (YouTube, Amazon, Hulu Plus, and Netflix) were no longer on the console and I was unable to download them.

The error code that I keep getting is 105-0642.

More important to me though (well I would like to be able to play the game I have for my brand new $350 console of course, but still) was the Wii memory that was completely taken off of the new console that was sent back to me.  I got my Wii U back with the box checked "We have verified your problem and have replaced the defective component(s)."

It seems like there was no attempt to retrieve the data off the console from my original Wii.  Now if the memory was corrupted, then I would like to have had someone contact me or the box checked on the form saying it was not able to be retrieved off the old console.  Maybe Nintendo doesn't have a way to transfer from Wii U to Wii U yet, but they need to get on that pronto for the customer service department.

If I was to get my old console back with the data still on there, I'd be more satisfied with what is going on if they can fix the disc reading problems via updates.
