I've had my Wii U for 8 months, and the HDMI cable/ports have worked fine until now.
The HDMI cable got unplugged from the television, I didn't bother to plug it back in until last night (2 days later);
I go back to plug it in, and find out the TV isn't receiving a signal from the Wii U at all (the Wii U is working properly).
None of the HDMI inputs on the TV are working now, so I reset the TV-- and still, no signal is being received from the Wii U.
Since the TV's HDMI ports are obviously the problem, the Wii U Quick Start Guide says (if I don't have an HDMI port [which I basically
don't, because they do not work]) I have to use a Wii AV Cable [RVL-009] or a Wii Component Video Cable [RVL-0011].
But that's just it, which one would be best- Wii AV Cable or Wii Component Video Cable?
And where do I get the best one? (Preferably at a store and not through the internet!)
