Hi All!
I'm a little confused about how the Wii U uses the save files. It seems like some games are for the entire system, and some games it depends on which Mii you are logged in under. Mario 3D World is one of those games that it depends which Mii you are logged in under.
So my BF and I have played through most of the game (we are almost 100% complete). However, he keeps forgetting his name and password (lol) and had a difficult time when he was putting his info into the 3DS, so he just made a whole new Nintendo Network ID for the 3DS. However, we would like to be able to use THAT one (the 3DS name and Mii) and replace his on the Wii U, but we do not want to lose the saved data.
Can we create a new account and Mii and just somehow copy his save file to that? I hope I'm wording everything correctly and I'm clear. I feel like I'm not being clear and I'm just confusing myself more, lol
