I recently moved to the U.S. from Europe and I brought my Wii U with me. I didn't bring the power cables, because I though I needed to buy new ones anyway. So I did, but when the thing arrived, I realized that the socket for the power supply on the Wii U is different here. My European Wii U has the slanted bit on the upper right side, but the U.S. version has it somewhere else, so the plug won't fit into the Wii U. Question is now: Can I simply order a EU plug from Amazon, e.g. this one, which looks like it has the slanted bit on the right side for my Wii U and use that with a simple adapter for the power outlet? Since the brick is in between there shouldn't be any damager to the Wii anyway, am I right?
