Last week I bought DK:TR off the eshop and started to download it. Whenever it started, my system would freeze up. After calling Nintendo, they told me it needed to be repaired and had me ship it to them.
I got it back today, plugged it in, ready to download DK, and my external hard drive doesn't register. I try changing the ports it's plugged into, nothing. I called support back and they tell me they didn't repair the system because I have homebrew on it. I have never installed homebrew of any kind on any system, yet somehow it's on there. Because of this, my warranty is voided, and I don't have access to the dozens of games from both my Wii and Wii U that were on the drive.
Does anyone know how it could have gotten on there?
Also, is there any way for me to get the games off my hard drive?
