I bought a 3DS XL and a Wii U in December of 2013. I'm relatively happy with both products but the Wii U has a glaring fault. No option for Full Range RGB. All other competing consoles have this feature, even last generation systems.
For those that don't know, Wii U only offers Limited Range RGB. If you use a monitor you more than likely need Full Range RGB to get accurate colors. The result for me is a washed out picture that looks horrible. This has put me off from playing my Wii U much. Since my monitor is running to my receiver, having things hooked up through my monitor also offers me the best sound (surround sound and all). For me, playing on my monitor is the definitive experience for playing games because of picture and sound quality.
Please Nintendo, add a simple option of changing from Limited to Full Range RGB. Bury it somewhere, hard to find or something so people don't accidentally change it since most TV's are Limited. I realize I'm in the minority, but even the minority are important customers, loyal at that as well.
