Copy Save Data ONLY?

I bought a Toshiba Canvio Connect 500GB Portable HDD (Model:HDTC705XK3A1) about 6 months ago, thinking that it would work with my Wii U (obviously, I was mistaken... somewhat). I copied EVERYTHING on my 2 other drives to it, then tested each piece of software with it. Everything checked out (although games loaded a little slowly), so I formatted all my other drives on my laptop to FAT32 (BIG mistake). The next day, the drive started clicking, which threw up a HUGE red flag, so I turned off the Wii U, then looked into it. I THEN found out that the drive I used was UNTESTED. Turns out that it was so incompatable that every time the Wii U wrote to or read from the drive, it corrupted sectors. Now I cannot move/copy my game (or save data) to another drive (it says "An error occurred while moving/copying, blah blah, some data could not be moved/copied.), and I don't have another 500GB drive, so cloning the drive isn't possible (not even with Raw Copy). I have a save on that drive that is VERY important to me (I know that NONE of IT is corrupted, as I used a tool to view the hexadecimal of the drive, and by doing a little detective work, found the area where the data resides. I then looked at the beginning and ending sectors, then used ANOTHER tool to check THOSE SPECIFIC SECTORS for errors, and none turned up), but there are bad sectors in the GAME, and the Wii U won't let you copy individual 'parts' of a game's data (like the uncorrupted save data). I'm here now to request that Nintendo add a function that allows users to store save data on the system memory, and the games separately, and to allow users to only copy valid saves TO the system memory, but not FROM it (to protect developers' copyrighted material). This is so that this kind of 'mistake' is correctable in the event that it happens to someone else. Can a Nintendo Tech Admin PLEASE consider this? Like I said, the data is VERY valuable to me sentimentally. Thanks for any help anyone can provide.
