Hello everyone!
This is for those of you who, like me, were wondering why the Nintendo Wii U Refurbished status that you ordered on the Nintendo website did not change and when your Nintendo Wii U will be delivered. I just created this because I tried to find any posts on the amount of days people had to wait for theirs to arrive, and I couldn't find any! I ordered mine last Monday, July 7, 2014 with Standard Shipping. I checked the Nintendo order status countless times to see if my status changed from Submitted, but it never did. I thought a week would be enough for the status to change, but it never did.
So today, Monday, July 14, 2014, I called the Support Number 1-800-255-3700 and was sent to an autobot who responded with, "Your order will be delivered in the next several days." (You need your 9-digit Order Number by the way to confirm this. Check your e-mail for this number.) Seeing how this is not specific enough, I called again and was sent to a specialist who asked for my name and my email address. This guy was really generous even though he sounded monotone, but put me on hold two - three times (you can hear Nintendo songs from their games while on hold!!!) before he told me if I had a paper, pen, and internet access right away. I replied, "Yes," and he told me to go onto www.ups.com and gave me a 25 digit tracking number. I inputted this number near the top left upon entering the website and was astonished that my Nintendo Wii U Refurbished will arrive tomorrow by the end of the day!
So the important thing from this whole retelling of my Wii U Refurbished process is that with STANDARD SHIPPING, this order will arrive by EIGHT days, if the ups.com information is correct. Hopefully my process will help those who are wondering the amount of time they have to wait before their Wii U Refurbished arrives. Thanks for reading this and I hope you will enjoy your Wii U soon!
