I have two Wii U and both of them connect to the internet fine. I have manually installed both the Wii U in my router via MAC address. I did follow the instructions about connecting to the internet at the Nintendo website. The problem is when both Wii U are playing call of duty games online. It appears that the first Wii U that is connected to the online multiplayer is the one that gets an open NAT connection within the game. The second Wii U always gets the strict NAT connection. One Wii U is connecting via USB LAN adapter, and the other Wii U connects via WiFi. Both of the Wii U are capable of an open connection but only one at a time. This is very annoying. I have a high speed internet connection and bought my router a few years ago. My router is a Linksys E2500, and I just got a new cable modem a few months ago when Charter upgraded their equipment.
