Hey, we received our WiiU, 32GB Deluxe today.
Thing is, when we tried connecting it to the TV it didn't work, we see the console booting up, we have a solid blue light, and the GamePad recognizes the console- It's asking us to type the symbols we see on the screen, then we guess they've properly synchronized- yet there is no signal on TV, it's totally black.
We tried with two different HDMI cables, one is from our PS3, which works fine in two different TVs (Toshiba and Vizio) and neither of them worked. Should I get an AV/Composite cable before thinking about calling Nintendo and ask for warranty/repairs or go to Gamestop and have the console changed?
We're at a loss here, we don't live in the US so we picked up the console while on a trip to the US and it's kind of dissapointing to see it's not working.
