Recently I fixed my TV (it's a Sony Bravia btw) of the dreaded green and purple color problem. Yaaaay. But several days later I'm running into a new one...
This time, it's not a color problem (thank goodness, or I'm pretty sure I would have punched my TV by then... Just kidding) but it's actually some sort of other display problem that I noticed as soon as I pressed the Wii menu button. Right before the screen faded out to go to the Wii menu, the screen... turned... yellow. Then my pointer inverted colors (the blue and white switched on it) but at first I wasn't worried because I just thought maybe it's just doing that because I switched it, but nooooo. When it FINALLY went to the menu, there were all these weird colored lines that would ONLY appear if alot of pixels changed color at once. If it was a still image or a mostly unchanging image (ex. the Wii menu), the lines wouldn't appear. But if you pressed A on a channel or something, then the lines would go crazy. For some strange reason, I don't think it's the TV and the Wii menu conflicting this time, because the weird colors briefly showed on the Wii U Menu before it faded out. I made sure everything was plugged in properly, including the TV, so I don't know what to think of this issue, and as such I am left with many questions. Is it a power problem? Is my TV getting old? (seriously, I don't think it's that old) Is my Wii U broken? I haven't turned it on since this issue popped up just now, so I actually don't know if the issue is still there, but I didn't want it to get any worse if it is. What do I do? HELP!
