Hi. I have a launch model Deluxe Wii U, and since I bought Smash Bros. I noticed a strange behaviour on the left analog stick of the Gamepad. It just can't be used to perform any move that needs a "tap" to the left. No dodging, no running, no smash attacks. Every direction but the left works fine. I tried resetting the console, thinking it might have had something to do with the neutral position calibration, but no dice, the problem consistently persists. The walking speed of the characters seem to be the same to both sides, so if there's any problem to how much the analog stick can register movement to the left, the difference must be quite small (I also never noticed it playing any other game, since they don't usually need "tap" movements).
So, is that problem known, and is there an easy way to fix it without having to send my console away?
