My Wii U keeps randomly disconnecting from the internet. After it disconnects I can't connect back on at all, however the problem magically amends itself when I turn the system off and then on. However it does this CONSTANTLY. In Smash 4 I can barely get through a few matches before it disconnects, and it's frusterating.
I looked for solutions online. Some said to give your Wii U a static IP, so I did that. Some said to turn off your routers firewall, did that. I even contacted Nintendo and they messed around with my router settings to, to try and get it to work.
My router is right down the hall, it's not far at all, so what the heck is going on?! My Wii, DS Lite, 3DS XL, PC, phone, and PSP never experienced this issue. Ever, period.
So is there something wrong with my Wii U or did Nintendo really just put a trashy network card in it? Is my only option really just buying a 50ft ethernet cable, the adapter, and then plugging it into my router?
