Just got a Wii U Pro Controller, but got problems with the analog stick.

First of all, sorry if this is in the wrong forums. This looks like the best spot for this question.

So, here's the thing. My dad just got us 2 Wii U Pro Controllers. The first one feels good and the buttons and control sticks are as smooth as ever, but the second one has a problem. Everything works, but the left analog stick doesn't work correctly. It can smoothly move left and right, but there's friction when trying to point upward with the analog stick. What's worse that it gets stuck in the "up" position, and I need to press it downward for it to get unstuck. Also, when pointing down with the analog stick, it feels like something is blocking the movement midway, and I need to use more force to get it all the way. And it also gets stuck when in its "down" position. So, in a more simplified way:

Everything works except the left analog stick, where:

  • Left position: Works perfectly
  • Right position: Works perfectly
  • Up position: Has friction (rather annoying), and gets stuck when pointing completely up.
  • Down position: Has something blocking the movement (I need to push it more to go all the way down), and gets stuc when pointing completely down.

Is there any way to fix this? I really want to play Smash with these controllers with my brother, but having these problems with the control stick in one of them isn't going to help much.

Thanks in advance!
