Some of you might be aware that there is currently no means to back up saves/data on the Wii U. Data can only be transferred to external storage, but doing so erases the copy on the Wii U.
As a victim of Wii U data corruption and a major proponent of frequent backups, I encourage others to demand this feature from Nintendo. I would hate to sink 50 hours into a game and lose everything because Nintendo won't allow us to perform a simple task.
