Hi,
I've been talking to a lot of customer service over the past couple days since the Wii U I bought recently was defective. Despite that my brother wasn't bothered by the issue as much as I was; the left control stick would inexplicably stop taking imput after running straight up for 10 seconds at a time and you'd have to change to get it to work again, run at an angle or run in a zig-zag for it to continually work. I was able to exchange it today and transferred my Nintendo ID over the phone but I'm unable to move my save data.
The person I talked to on the phone about it told me that there was nothing on the USB (well, more accurately it's a USB with a SD card-shaped microSD card reader in it) I was using, so I decided to plug it into my computer to use it for my cellphone again but the USB still says that there's some unreadable stuff on it. Is it impossible to transfer data over USBs from system to system like this? The employees I talked to seemed pretty confused that it wasn't working, so I'm not sure if I just screwed up somehow or what?
It's greyed out and the only option I'm given is to reformat it.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
