Whenever I am navigating the OS, entering a menu or exiting, once in a while, the screen will display the appropriate menu icon and get stuck. For example, I may be leaving Miiverse back into the regular menu, or entering the User settings or system settings, etc... and the Wii U will never make the transition.
Holding the power button on the console or gamepad doesn't force a reboot and I have had to unplug my machine a many times. Sometimes, if I leave the console on and come back later, the menu has been loaded. Other times (45 minutes even), it remains stuck.
Will there be an update to fix this? And when can I expect it. The OS is not usable in the current state and I've never known Nintendo to ship a product like this.
