I purchased a new Wii U Skylanders bundle 8GB from ToyRUs, and just opened it yesterday (Christmas day 12/25/14). The game pad was charged and the system was updated. However, it would not read any of the Wii U game discs inserted (I tried 4--all new). ToysRUs no longer has this bundle that I got for a Black Friday price, and only offered me a refund. My kids really want their Wii U and I don't have more money to add to another system for the current retail price. I need to get the console repaired. I tried to follow the repair steps on this site, but was lead to a dead end. I submitted a question to Nintendo and am currently waiting on an answer. I have used this repair process before when I got my son's 3DS XL fixed.
