It's been awhile since I've used my Wii U, thinking this might be a bricking issue after looking at the forums. I just bought Mario Kart 8, came home to play it and when I turned my Wii U on, I got an error on my Gamepad saying: "Could not connect to the Wii U console. Please move the Wii U Gamepad closer to the console. Then turn the controller's power off and on again."
I thought this was a syncing issue and when I tried to re-sync the controller, it asked me to input the symbols on the TV but the Wii U wasn't sending a video signal to the TV.
I've tried just about everything, including re-syncing the controller, unplugging all HDMI, sensor, and Power cords, and using a different HDMI slot and TV. Nothing is showing up on the TV and the controller is pretty much dead in the water.
The Wii U's blue light comes on and sounds like it boots up,but no video feed is being sent to the TV. Controller boots with the Nintendo logo, but immediately goes to the can't connect error message.
I did get a random memory error back in January when I first got the system Nintendo had never seen before after downloading Super Metroid on the eShop. Error Code: 160-0103, "There is a problem is the system memory", not sure if that's related.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
