I bought my Wii U two days ago and started playing it yesterday and there have been problems. The first was getting it connected to the WiFi but got around that. The second is that my Nintendo land rarely starts up. I thought that it may have been the disk and got it replaced but it still didn't work. So I formated the Wii U and re-installed everything to which it finally worked.
Trying to play it today however doesn't work. In the 5-6 times I have tried booting the disk it has only worked 1 time. It just gets stuck on the curtain screen with that annoyingly catchy tune and I have to unplug my Wii U for it to turn off (which in my opinion is a major disign flaw, the off button should always work no matter what) and I am afraid that doing this is causing damage to my console. I have tried setting my miiverse to English only which didn't work and I deleted the WiFi settings which was mentioned in another forum and it still doesn't work.
A friend of mine also has a Wii U and his works fine. I tried my disk in his earlier today and it worked perfectly and I tried his in mine only for it to freeze. What should I do as I really enjoy the games presented in Nintendo Land and would like to play it without these stupid freezes. Please Help.
