I have the Nintendo Wii Lan Adapter.
I plugged the USB connector to the back of the Wii, and plugged the ethernet cable into the adapter and the other end into my modem.
I have a Motorola modem with four ethernet ports. (not sure if you would call that a modem or a router since it's the box that directly goes into the wall via a coax, but also has the four ethernet ports. whatever it is it's the standard for time warner users)
I've tested the cable by itself and it works fine.
The other computers plugged into my modem access the internet fine.
When I try to setup my connection via the Wii U's operating system, when it initiates the connection test it says failed and gives error 103-1007.
I've searched everywhere and I even called Nintendo and they fed me a line about the LAN adapter not working on the Wii U which I know is not true because plenty of people have gotten this working.
What do I need to do to get this to work?
