I've been wanting to play my old VC channels that were transfered over from my original wii and have begun the long and rather arduous process of redownloading all the channels that were on the SD card at the time of transfer. It seems like every time I attempt this download is either mindnumbingly slow or fails entirely giving me an error code that claims my connection with the wii shop channel is bad. The strange thing is that my connection with Wii U's eShop and all my other online dealings have been stellar. Any way to fix this? Also, I find having to reboot the system just to access original Wii content as a clumsy solution to an otherwise elegantly crafted UI. Any chance they might fix this down the road?
