A couple weeks ago I noticed my Wii U wouldn't turn on (not bricked) and we took it to Best Buy for repairs because that's where we bought it, and my parents didn't want to go through the trouble of sending it to Nintendo. They'd had to disassemble it to take out a game that got stuck in it when it wouldn't stay on long enough to eject. We'd only expected to get it repaired but they gave us a whole new Wii U.
I don't care about any actual Wii U data because I haven't done much in the little while I've owned it, but after a transfer from my Wii I had about 30-40 dollars worth of Wii Points and maybe around 50-60 dollars of downloaded content. I'd also had a few years worth of time put into the games.
We called Best Buy about it, but they said that we should just call Nintendo and see if credit card info or the like could help.
Also, I have the SD card that was used for the transfer, so can I do anything with that?
