I have a copy of windwaker hd that I got the christmas of release, and I noticed that the coating on the disk (the part that gets read by the system) had small bubbles around the center where the disk would get attatched inside the system. This was no problem until recently after I went and had to delete my game data for about the 5th or 6th time due to the data not being readable and not being compatable with the disk. And now the system says that wind waker can not be read after about 5-8 mins of gameplay, and I know it's nothing wrong with the system beacause it reads all my other games just fine with no problems. I decided to contact nintendo today about 30 mins ago and they tried to charge me double what the game originally costs. If its just a replacement then why pay for a total of three copies of the game. If a company gives you a replacement then it should be for free because the product they made is defective. They shouldn't make you pay for the game again let alone three times over just for one copy that actually works. The wii u has already been a major flop for me in terms of games that I actually enjoy playing and get hyped up about. Windwaker was one, and that brings my total of games I enjoy playing down to five games. And that's rather upsetting that I can't even enjoy a console that nintendo made that I want to enjoy so much, just because they're trying to charge me twice more to get a working copy of a game that was defective that came directly from nintendo. I want compensation for this because I'm tired of deleting game data, never getting to finish a game that I want to so badly, and then this big corprate buisness trying to make two extra copies of the game worth by saying that "it's just company policy, it doesn't count as a replacement, it's a repair. and repairs cost money" IT"S A REPLACEMENT FOR A MANUFACTURING DEFECT IN A PRODUCT THAT CAN"T EVEN BE FIXED THAT YOU MADE NINTENDO. FIX IT.
