To me this is a serious issue. You cant get the comfort of just leaving the game in the drive...Yeah I know "Why dont you go and eject the disk?" You ask...Its a inconvience...you have things like YouTube, Netflix, browser, Wii street U, Miiverse...where you can take your mind off of the game and the disk will still be inside spinning...It may not be a big deal now to people, but I guarentee that its going to be a huge problem if this doesnt get fixed. It shortens the lifespan with a mechanical part that doesnt need to be in use. Im a lazy American lol, but even still its so easy to forget its in there at times...well not when its quiet in the room and all you hear is the disk spinning.
If you go into Wiimode and put a Wii disk in it will eventually stop, and then start when disk access is needed. I cant even name anything else where the disk drive behaves like this now.
I really dont wanna shell out another $350+tax...it still costs a lot even if the price were lower. I also hate to send things like this off in the mail and wait.
So I ask Nintendo can you please patch it if possible or if its a hardware issue have it fixed in new models/SKU's for the new Wii U customers at least?
