I bought a Wii U and still use my Wii so I don't want to do the system transfer. But I would like to use Wii Fit on my Wii U, and so I copied the save file by SD card. But I can't figure out how to transfer my Mii. I have tried by Wii remote, but the transfer option does not appear in the Wii Plaza loaded from the Wii menu on the Wii U. I read that you can also transfer Mii by exchanging friend codes between two Wiis, but how can you do this between Wii and Wii U? From the Wii menu on my Wii U, there is no system option for connecting to the internet, and I can't find a friend code. Are we stuck with only local connection on Wii games played on Wii U?
