I can NOT get my nintindo wii U's remote funtion to connect to my dish network VIP722K SAT. reciever (set top box) as Nintendo calls it.

What I have is whats called a "Duo" reciever where it is ONE set top box that can send output to 2 serparate televisions. VIA COAXial

My upstairs remote is operating on I.R. (infared) and my downstairs remote is is operating on UHF. I guess that how the whole "Duo" thing works in the first place and thats how it was setup by dish Network.

I did read this post http://techforums.nintendo.com/thread/18451 but this will not WORK FOR ME!

I have tried EVERYTHING! The most frustrating part is I have come across fellow community tech nintendo posters that have posted that it works with there 722K reciever. The same exact one as mine.. What gives?

I noticed that there are only 3 attempts to connect to the dishnetwork receiver but if I change the brand on the gamepad to Echostar it has like 22 attempts.

Why such a varience between brands? I would assume those are universal codes that it is trying.

PLEASE HELP ME GUYS! I bought my wii U specifically to use it as a remote even more over gameplay. So as of right now i'm am totally at a loss.

THanks a bunch,
