awsome console but one question

I really like The Wii U, it is a awsome console in my opipion, I played it this past Saturday for the first Time and bought the 32gb delexe on Tuesday,

it is really cool, i picked up legos undercover,,Super Mario Bros Wii U, and Need For Speed most Wanted,

anyway my question is, Nintendo dosen't sale extra Wii U gamepads, so later on if the gamepad quits working, can you send it in to nintendo for

repair or a replacement from them, I know it wasen't sold extras in stores or do you have to just buy a new system all together?
