Unfortunately, one of my family members placed mothballs near my Wii U. I didn't know about this until recently, so I am worried. As soon as I discovered that there were mothballs in my house, I quickly threw them away (They're toxic as well). I am not sure how long the mothballs were there, but I had my Wii U for about 1.5 weeks. Since chemicals that make up mothballs (naphthlene, PDB, etc.) can melt/soften plastic, it's not impossibe for mothballs to affect video game consoles... Any thoughts?
