My gamepad has been disconnecting during normal use for the past couple of weeks in Hulu Plus. When this happens, it's usually set down & right side up on the couch or table. Today, it was disconnecting fairly frequently during Super Mario 3D World and was rendering the game unplayable. Everytime this has happened, the Wii U has been less than ten feet from the gamepad. The Wii U is set up on the top of a separate stand next to the TV.
I've tried to re-sync the gamepad but the Wii U won't desync/resync.
I'm assuming there is an issue with the WiFi module in my gamepad. This is also assuming that Wii U has 1 WiFi module for internet access and gamepad functionality and not 2 modules. In this scenario, the Wii U is fully functional as Hulu Plus hasn't stopped due to router connection loss.
Can anyone please prove me wrong?
