WiiU Gamepad barely functioning

Hello techforum. I am here beacuse, for the past servral months, my WiiU Gamepad has been almost non-fuctioning.

On the user selection screen apon turning the system on

  • The touch screen does not work at all, or barely works. By barely, I mean, if you press down on it, it will sycle through the users and go back to the first if you let go. Thats it.
  • I can use a wii (classic) remote to go into a user, but even that has an "*" beside it. I have to attach a wii classic (pro) contoller to the wii remote to sycle through and select users, because the sensor bar fails to notice the remote.
  • Since the touch screen will not work; I cannot get into my Nintendo ID safeguarded account. I must do all trobble shooting and limited gamming though my sisters account because it is not connected to an ID.

(Keep in mind though, the sceen is not resonding to touch, but it is displaying all of the visals perfectly the way its supposed to. Even the on-board audio works fine.)

  • For whatever reason, pressing "A" on the wii classic pro, or the wii remote to select users, does not work wile the pad is "barely working", the pressing "A" only works when the pads touch screen does not work at all.
  • What makes it switch though? Turning the system and pad off then turning them back on puts the system into a state were using the wii classic pro to select users work. Also, the touch screen is 100% useless to touch. (Again, with the viusals just fine.) Disconnecting the battery at this stage, with the main consold still on, and you can still use the above method. After 30 or so seconds, re connecting and turning the pad on will put it into a state of weirdness. Touch screen will only sycle through users, going back to the first or middle one when your finger or stylist is released. Finnaly, if you turned both the system and pad off, then disconnect the battery of the pad for 30 seconds, then reconnecting and turning on both system and pad, will only then result in type A, were you can only use the classic pro to select users, and the touch sceen is useless.
  • The buttons on the pad do nothing thoughout this entire thing, besides the following. Home button desplays the home crossed out icon, TV brings up the TV contols, wich do not work because of the screen. (And futhermore must me exited out of with a second press of "TV".) Power also works.

Now into my sisters acount

  • Now looking at the plasa on the TV and the apps on the pad. L and R, and LZ and RZ scroll through the pages of apps, but thats it. Still no touch funconaltiy. Home button displays home, and must be pushed again to exit.
  • Pressing "X" to switch modes is the only other thing it can do.
  • Now looking at the plasa view on the pad. R stick zooms in and out, L stick scrolls through apps. Home button still works, but still no touch functionality.
  • Using the wii classic pro on the home menu (because sensor bar still doesnt work.) Wii GamePad settings are useless. Turning the display on and off do nothing.
  • Still using the classic, I go to system settings. The GamePad's R stick scrolls down the on-TV instructions but thats literaly the only functionaliy. I must push  B on (only) the gamepad to exit.

In addition

  • Lets try a game. I use the wii classic pro to select Call of Duty: Ghosts. Starts up as normal. If I press a button on the gampad while on the main menu on the TV, it finds the contoller. (I usally just play with the wii classic pro, but im seeing if this works.) I started a match. The TV shows the game, and the gamepad shows the minimap. When the match was loading, the TV and gamepad looked the same, like normal. This is normal. When it started, I could use the contols to select my class on screen, still no touch screen.

Please help. XD
