Hello. My friend just bought a Wii U, and she can't pair the Gamepad with the system, because she does not have a television at the moment. She is in the process of moving, and her stuff shan't be there for a few more days, or even a week or two. Is it possible to find out her pairing code without a TV?
I did some playing around, and found out that the pairing code is the unique to each Wii U, and it is the same everytime. I unpaired my own Wii U gamepad, and attached it to another Wii U in the house, When i put that Wii U's gamepad back on it, it used the same code as mine did, and when I resynched my gamepad to my own Wii U, it still had the same code as it did before. My guess, is that the serial number may be used in an algorithm to decide the code. Her system's serial is FW40835747. Is it possible to find out her pairing code so that she may play her Wii U until her TV arrives? (she has games like NSMBU that support off TV play.)
