Hello. I just pre-ordered some Amiibos for my Wii U on Amazon. I saw that they said Super Smash Bros. on the box. I want to know for certain that these are not game specific. I am unsure whether I will get Smash Bros. or not. So, what I am asking is will the Mario, labled Smash Bros, that I just ordered also work on Mario Kart 8? I saw posts that stated they may only hold 1 game's data at a time. I am okay with that part. I just want to be sure I did not just order figures that are only going to be compatible with Super Smash Bros. and not the other games. I don't want to have to buy (if I chose to) figures for each different game that I get that uses them. ex. I don't really want to buy a Mario Kart Mario or Yoshi then have to buy Yoshi again for Yoshi's Wooly World and not be able to use the same Yoshi.
Also, I got characters like Samus and Link. Will they be usable in the other games and not just Smash Bros.?
I may cancel my pre-order depending on what I find out. I just want to be sure. Thanks for the help.
