I just got a Wii-U today and when setting it up, I did the system update and I think my Wi-Fi cut out a little bit before it was done updating. It asked me to sign into my Network ID (I have one from my 3DS) and when I sign in it says I need to do the system update first, then goes back to the sign in. It's like an endless cycle. Can't sign in without the update, can't update without signing in. I tried turning it off and back on and even pressing the home button. Nothing works. Anyone know what to do? I know I'll probably have to call support but it's too late now and I don't want to wait until tomorrow to play! haha
