I removed a SATA compatable internal hard drive from my PC, and used a component to be used as an adapter for the hard drive, to make the hard drive external. The component is fully functioning as the light on it is on.
The port from the component is a mini USB, that is connected to the Wii U through a mini USB/USB cord.
The point is, when I format the drive, the "Checking USB Hard Drive screen", is not finishing and has been continuing for over an hour.
Is this normal, and is the Wii U recognizing the hard drive?
