With the new Gamecube adaptor, I can only hope that, that means that with just a simple system update I can play some of my favourite Gamecube games in glorious 1080p. Whether it be on virtual console or even with physical discs.
My question here is, is this possible? I'm hoping that physical discs would be a possibility simply because I already have a library of games. That and people have hacked the Wii U proving that the Wii U is capable of playing Gamecube games. Although, without the memory card slot, it may just stay a dream, but theoretically they could use other sources such as the internal storage or even an SD card. As for virtual console, that seems like the most plausible case scenario.
I think that the addition of Gamecube games, along side Super Smash Bros. will make sales absolutely skyrocket. I know for a fact that even if you couldn't play physical discs, I would still re-buy all of my favourites.
