Recently I purchased Ocarina of Time and Mario 64 on the Wii U, through the Wii mode virtual console. After buying it, I realized I needed a classic pro controller. No biggie, I ordered one from eBay and waited patiently
Anyway, I get the controller, plug it in, and it works.. sort of. It all works fine, except for the joystick. When moving it is almost like an on/off switch. You're either standing still or you're running. There is a small threshold of tilt where you can walk, if you're SUPER careful, but it really makes these type of games difficult to play.
I'll also mention that this controller isn't official Nintendo brand. It's some third party controller, which I was disappointed to see when I got it, but hey, at least I can sort of play these amazing games.
So, is it likely just that the controller is ****? If so, I'll buy a proper Nintendo one, but I don't want to bother if the brand name controller has the same issues.
Thanks!
