Hello. I am putting this here because I could not open a Support Ticket nor find a Tech Support phone-number.
I have owned my Wii U since March 2013 and have had no problems until a few days ago. Coinciding with the new System Update for Amiibo, my Wii U has suddenly started experiencing WiFi connection-troubles. It will work one second, and then drop another. My other devices in the same room work flawlessly: desktop PC, iPad, and 3DS. Since then, I looked this problem up online and found many people with the same issue.
I tried manually forcing a connection (advice from user GAMEDEV). I tried putting my Wii U into my router's DMZ. The thing is, my Wii U can always see my router, and it will even pass the Connection Test, but 9 times out of 10, it will fail to access the internet in real applications like eShop and Internet Browser.
The only solution I have found to work is moving my Wii U to the living-room, where my router is. Right now, it's inches from my router. WiFi works now but I don't have the convenience of using Wii U in bed anymore. I used to browse the internet, watch Amazon Video, and play Off-TV games. Sadly this pasttime is gone from me now. Please help me.
