I have three WiiU games and so far out of the three I have, only two of them work. The game I can't get to work is Sonic and Sega All-stars Racing: Transformed. I had one copy of the game disc that would just freeze at the title screen and I went back and exchanged it for another one and now when the game is loading the levels I get at least two to three error codes of: 150-1031 saying the disc is dirty and should be cleaned but the disc itself is spotless. I tried doing a search on Nintendo's website here for the error code but it is not found. Is this the WiiU's issue or the games? Do I have to go back and exchange it for a third copy???
WiiU Error code: 150-1031?
Gamepad busted! *URGENT HELP*
Basically I was playing around on Miiverse and when I was writing I started to notice that the touch screen stopped working. So I switched styluses. Still didn't work. Pressed the buttons. Still didn't work. The only button that did work was the home button. I turned it off, thinking it was a programming error. Still didn't work. THIS IS URGENT! I spent lots of hard earned money on the black wii u (extra gigs + game bundle)!
Bayonetta 2 combo/control issues :(
So I bought bayonetta 2 and was enjoying the **** out of it. The game looks gorgeous and experimenting with different weapons throughout the game makes me come back for more. Recently I've noticed an issue with the way my game was reacting to my controllers. The thing is that whenever I press X to punch or A to kick it always doesn't do what it's supposed to. Let's say I wanted to do a full punch combo (press A 5 times). For some reason if I only press X the game inputs a few kicks into the combo even though I'm only pressing X. I could literally sit there and repeatedly press X and my character would do a bunch of other things, including jumping (where you have to press B). It sometimes even registers that I'm holding down the ZL, ZR buttons when in reality they're untouched; I'm just pressing X. This problem also happens with my game pad buttons as well. I tried playing other games like Mario kart or wind waker with both controllers and they worked just fine. Heck, I even played the Bayonetta 2 demo and everything was fine! I could combo with just punches or kicks with no interference of something that I didn't press. For some reason the buttons just spazz out when playing the actual game. I checked the controller settings and everything was normal, just the button inputs the game receives is reacting weird. I don't know if this is a game bug or if my controllers are F'ed up, but i'm pretty sure it's a bug since my controllers work prefectly fine in anything else that I do. Hopefully there's a fix to all of this.
Thank you for your time,

Error 162-2011 problems with update 5.0.0
I'm having problems when trying to perform the update 5.0.0. My Wiiu does not enter the eshop and I cant do the upgrade. My games have been deleted from the HDD and the console is shutting down alone. I want a solution to this problem.
Screen Goes Black For A Couple Seconds Then Comes Back
I've been having this weird problem when I play my Wii U. The TV screen will go black for a second or two then come back (almost like I'm switching my TV's input or it momentarily loses the signal), and it'll do this in rapid succession a few times. After that, it'll be okay for a while before it does it again. Does anyone know why it's doing this and how to fix it? It's really aggravating (thank God for the GamePad screen lol). If it helps, I have my Wii U connected to my TV via the HDMI cables that came with the system.
Deadzone too huge on gamepad and gamepad pro
I notice in First-person Shooter like Call of Duty Black OPs 2 and Deus Ex Human Revolution Director's Cut That you have to move the analog stick half way to start moving, which makes it feel "laggish".
I looked around other fourms and they noticed too. I'm surprised it hasn't been discussed here.
I tested both the gamepad(tablet) and the gamepad pro, and they both show the same issue.
I don't think it's a hardware issue but more of a software issue.
Please look in to it. Having this issue makes playing first player shooter unplayable.
Definition of "Deadzone":
'Deadzone' is the portion of an analogue stick's range that is ignored by the plugin, so any movement within this area does not register in a game.
WiiU SD Card
Ok so I got a WiiU with only 8GB and was looking for an external hard drive, but then changed my mind for an SD Card. Is there a specific one for the WiiU or can I just use any. I need to know this 'cause I'm not a big tech geek, and don't wanna be ripped off of my money.
Wii U deletes everything on my console with another mii?
So I got a Wii U about 5 months ago and really enjoy it. And I really like club nintendo, I use it alot. But, when I created my nintendo ID (i already had a 3ds at the time with a nintendo ID) because I was embarresed of the one on my 3ds, I created a new one. So I think I linked my 3ds nintendo ID to my Wii U. So now I have 2 people I can switch between in the top right corner. Now I want to delete the one for the Wii U and just stick with my old one, ( and club nintendo was already linked to my nintendo ID so i cant change it onto my 3ds account) but when I switch to my 3ds nintendo ID it has the exact same screen and games. So I was wondering if I deleted my Wii U account would it transfer it all to my 3ds account or just delete it all? Sorry if it was confusing but thanks otherwise.
Wii U will not play Wii games
My Wii U plays all Wii U games perfectly fine, But whenever i put in a Wii disk, it says "Invalid Disk". The Wii U has all of the latest updates, and the Wii disks were in perfect condition. So why would my Wii U not be playing Wii games?
My Wii U is not play Html5 vids
I use a site called KissAnime and they have a HTML5 option for mobile devices. When ever I try to play a video in html5 is says "ERROR CODE: 112-2003. Could not load video. Try reloading the page?" And I try to reload but it still doesn't play. Ive used it for more then a year and it worked fine until now. I've tried changing Wi-Fi networks but it didn't work. btw Youtube works fine.
[Gamepad] Strange 'brightness lines' on my gamepad
I'll explain further.
I noticed this issue about 2 weeks ago, when I was playing Mario3DWorld. After clearing a stage, you get to a red background screen... where I could see 1px width lines which had a slight difference in their brightness levels between them.
I'm also attaching a picture, because I never heard of this issue.
Pay attention to the small lines in the gray background, behind 'BAYONETTA'. Remember that the lines are 1px width, but there are so many...
The lines are all over the pad and it's driving me insane. OCD pretty much but it can't be helped.
Any suggestions?
(the gamepad works perfectly... but these lines are annoying).
Wii U Stuck on Loading Screen After Update
Hello, last night at around 6:30pm EST I began updating my Wii U to the latest version. It is currently 5.0.0U. After Retrieving Data for the Update, it went to the Wii U loading screen. I waited for about 30 minutes, and since it was still on the loading screen I called Nintendo Support. I was told to keep it on for a while, as new updates take long, so I left it on overnight. I woke up today at about 7:00am, so it's been stuck on the loading screen for about 14 hours. I already tried removing the disc and putting it back in and unplugging the Wii U, but after I unplug the Wii U it comes back on fine and tells me I need to system update. I cannot really play any games on my Wii U at the moment, can someone please help?

Playing With Friends Overseas
If I have a US Wii U and a friend has a Japanese Wii U, can we still friend each other to play together online?
Wii Shop Channel thinks all SD Cards are locked on Wii U's Wii Mode.
And they're not. I've tried multiple SD Cards. I decided to finally sit down and try to redownload tons of games from the Wii Shop Channel that were deleted years ago, and I can't. It's my understanding that not enough storage space is allocated to Wii Mode itself for me to fit all of the games if I just choose, "Wii System Memory."
So, yeah. Please help!
Thanks,

Separating Save Files From DLC?
Hey all,
i noticed that I can't separate save files from the respective title's install file (sort of annoying, as I'd love to have my digital copy of Hyrule Warriors' save data on the more reliable Wii U flash memory than on the external HDD the large game file has to be on--I have a Wii U basic), so my question is: with Mario Kart 8 and Smash Wii U offering downloadable content (the main reason I bought an external hard drive), will I be able to keep the saves of games I own physical copies of on the 8 gbs of system flash, while storing the larger DLC files on my external, or do they all need to be together? I could always move the saves to the external, but again, I have my doubts as to the reliability of those things.
Thanks!
Transferring users from one Wii U to another
I currently have access to a Wii U that isn't mine. I have a user on it, I play on it, I even purchased some DLC on it.
As far as I know, is there any way for my to transfer my user data on another Wii U when I decide to buy one of my own? From what I gathered it seems the only way would be to transfer everything and wipe the original Wii U, but that's not what I want. The owner of the Wii U has data too. Is there something that can be worked out?
Wii U Eshop
The Wii u eshop is currently under maintenance but the online network status says that the wii u services are working fine
I would either like people to be informed or know if something is wrong
Game freeze after DLC download. Can't restore save file.
So I've been playing Hyrule Warriors for a few days, and this is now the second time I have to start over. Forgive me if I sound frustrated.
I was cruising along through the game for probably 10+ hours and thought "hey, maybe I should download the DLC". I put it my download code for both the Club Nintendo DLC and the EBGames pre-order DLC, downloaded both to the system, and installed them. Upon starting the game once more, it hit the loading screen and froze, crashing the console. Nothing was responsive and I had to hard restart the system. I went to data management and deleted the DLC file and the update file, but left the save file alone. The game reinstalled the update and loaded up just fine. However, for some reason it overwrote my save file when I started it up. I was pretty upset about this, but I thought hey, at least the game works now. So I started over and played for another few hours, and I decided to try the DLC download once more. I mean after all, it was half the reason I decided to pre-order in the first place. This time though, I decided I'd copy the save file (JUST the save file) over to the system storage just in case I had the same issue. It's an annoying process to update the game all over again, but I backed up my save, so I wasn't too worried. Anyway, the same problem happened again just now. I installed the DLC and the game freezes on the loading screen. I went into date management, reinstalled the update just like the first time, and booted the game up. The "saving" icon came up and I said "HA! I gotcha this time!". Nope. I thought I was being safe, but now it won't let me copy my save file back over to the USB drive with the rest of the game's files. I mean I'm staring at my save data all nicely tucked away, and it just won't let me restore it?
I really appreciate any help you guys can give me! This anger is not directed at you, I promise.
Thanks!
Edit: just a little follow up! If I get my save file restored (I'm not overly hopefuly, but it'd be awesome), is there some other way I can get the DLC? It seems like it's corrupting the file somehow, and I'm afraid to try it again.
New Wii U not working
I just bought a Wii U off Ebay for a great deal....unfortunately either the seller knowlingly sold me a dud or I am not setting it up correctly, which shouldn't be this difficult if that's the case. My problem specifically comes in two parts:
1. It won't display on my TV; neither HDMI or the other (AG cable?) will work. It's been quite a while since I had to setup a console so maybe I'm outdated now; why is there now a green cable and is it the green or yellow that goes in the half green half yellow hole? I was under the impression that HDMI fit all of that nonsense into one cable and that's all I would have to deal with.
2. The second part of my problem is that the gamepad gets stuck on the Wii U logo screen if I try to select something. Is it trying to output onto my TV and not showing me anything? I'm thinking maybe the console is preset to AG and I want to go to system settings to change it to HDMI, but it never makes it to that screen.
What am I doing wrong?
