Wii to Wii U Virtual Console transfer
So the Wii U has virtual console now. Is there any way I can download VC games on the Wii U that I purchased on my old Wii? The Wii's serial number is registered to my account, as well as every VC game I downloaded.

Wii U bricked?!
After downloading the latest update today (April 28th, 2013). My Wii U will not power up properly. The blue light turns on, but the system outputs nothing to the TV and the gamepad will not connect to the system. I am in a mild panic attack here. Any help?

TiVo functionality
Does anyone know whether this is available with the new update? It looks like it is not. Nintendo addressed this issue months ago, stating that TiVo functionality will be available shortly. It has been 6 months since Wii U's release. Without it, TVii is wothless for TiVo owners.

Wii U having a lot of bricking and freezing issues after latest system update?
So from this tech support forum, and many others. I've been seeing a lot of reports of Wii U bricking, having a freeze/hang up in the same spot of loading every time, and other problems. It makes me wary to update my Wii U, I see it as a big problem. Especially the "freezing in the same spot every time" issues, and bricking. Can or will Nintendo ever fix these issues? I find the freezing and bricking problems very worrying and annoying. Is there any way I can directly contact Nintendo (by phone,email,etc.) to issue a complaint about some of these problems?

Wii to Wii U transfer questions.
I just have two questions, since I've decided to try and transfer this weekend. One, if I can't fit everything on the source wii and have to have it stay on an SD card, do I have to do the transfer twice to finish everything off? Second, does any of the content stay on the wii as a copy? Will I still have save files or wii shop account downloads?

Unable to start Netflix after latest update, any solutions?
After the last update my Wii U is unable to start Netflix. No error message, both screens just go black. Gamepad also goes unresponsive.

Will not load any services after update, why?
I have been a member of Nintendo for years. So long it reset my account. I have had all the systems. But, most recently my Wii U will not load services after the new update. I have had no problems until the update. I have tried reset of my router and modem, called support and got pushed to advanced. I have not had a chance to call advanced yet but I'm hoping there is a fix before. Maybe a patch update. Any suggestions?

Wii U Error Code: 160-0101
I was just wondering about the following error code I have suddenly received on my Wii U Gamepad & TV display:
The exact steps of what was going on with the system prior to the error was as follows:
- I was playing through a lengthy session of Zen Pinball 2 on my Gamepad (my main TV screen was off at the time).
- I was done playing for the night, so I quit my current table & returned to the main table selection screen of the game.
- I then pressed the Home Button on the Gamepad in order to close the game & return to the Wii U main menu
- The Wii U Home Menu appeared on screen & I then pressed the Close Software icon.
- The screen above appeared on the Gamepad screen. Upon turning on my TV to the proper input, I noticed this Error message was also being displayed there as well.
I then attempted to look up the error code on the Nintendo Support page for the Wii U in an attempt to figure out what was the issue, but upon entering the code I received the following message:
Error Code: 160-0101
Situation:
Unable to find your specific error code. Please search your Wii U error code again, making sure to enter it exactly as it appears.
If you are still unable to locate troubleshooting for your specific error code, below is a list of troubleshooting steps that resolve most home network connection issues
After that, the only thing I could do was to attempt to turn off the console as instructed by the error code. I first attempting to do so the standard way by holding the power button on the Gamepad until it powered off... unfortunately, this did not power down the main console as well. I pressed the power button on the Gamepad once again, and it powered up to the same error message being displayed. I then attempted a shut down by holding the actual console's power button for 3 seconds. This time the console itself powered off & the Gamepad displayed an error that it had lost communication with the main system. Upon powering down the Gamepad, I was able to boot the console back on via the Gamepad & was taking to the main prompt screen to choose a profile.
I don't know how common this error is, but couldn't find anything useful on the internet & felt that at least documenting it could at least be a start for someone else who might come across this same Error Code.

Netflix consistently freezing on Black Screen after April update
Since I updated, netflix crashes 4 out of 5 times. The crash happens in the following manner, launch netflix, get the initail red netflix screen. At this point it would usually switch to a similar netflix screen with and additional loading ring. Instead the screens go black, and the loading menu continues. At this point I need to power down the console by holding down the power button on the wii u. Anybody else experiencing this? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling twice with the same results.

Wii U HDD - Seagate Expansion losing connection?
I got a Seagate Expansion 1TB USB 3.0 external drive which is one of the recommended drives.
Everything before the most recent episode seemed fine though the only 2 things I'd downloaded/played on it were Punch-Out!! and Kirby's Adventure since purchasing the drive. Ever since the system update, it doesn't want to download anything - it either says the data's corrupted and doesn't finish the download or the system restarts and says the USB storage device was disconnected (when it wasn't). Same result when trying to download Super Mario World or the Rayman Challenges App. Error Code: 160-0106 "The USB storage device has been removed."
Anyone run into this? What sort of Y cable would I need to get (if that's the problem)? It has that weird combo connector on the back of the drive that's like a micro USB mixed with something else... Help!

Wii u hang on monster hunter (just received it back from Nintendo)
I play Monster hunter 3 ultimate on my home wii, installed an update, no issues. Recently brought it over to my girlfriends and after the installation of the update inside the game, it bricked her wiiu.
We sent it into Nintendo, and received it fixed and updated, so naturally after a while I popped Monster hunter in.
..only to find that now it's hanging on the splash screen. The opening music just keeps playing on repeat.
I literally just received it back from Nintendo today and I sent in the disc with it (At my dismay and their request) so they could test it, only to find that it's not working.
Beyond my dissapointment with nintendos support on this, I'm also just really confused, has anyone else had this issue and maybe knows what I can do beyond sending the wii u in AGAIN and being without my game for ANOTHER week and a half?

NO games are working. Now I'm pretty annoyed because they insisted I send my games with the wii U (despite my telling them repeatedly that the games were working on my own Wii U, so it wasn't that as an issue, not to mention the fact that I wanted to play them on my own time) in order to 'test to ensure it works before they send it back, and clearly the wii u was not tested since, as stated, no games are working.
to clarify the little splash screen before the game launches, it hangs on that, music keeps playing, and the home menu can't be opened.

Regarding Wii U Synching Issues
I recently purchased a Wii U Deluxe, however at the initial Setup Synching the Wii U is not progressing to the stage shown below
I simply get stuck in the "Press Sync" Stage. However, it has come to my attention that this is a problem some Wii Users have come across, and managed to successfully rectify. I am in current contact with Nintendo over this, but I would like to ask anyone who may have found a way to fix this (and I know some poeple have) on details on how they eventually got it to work/what they kept trying to get it to work.

Netflix makes a loud noise when not playing
Hello,
I'm having an issue with the netflix app in my Wii U. This issue was occurring before the update, and I hoped the update would fix it, but it didn't.
Not always, but quite often, when the Netflix app is not playing audio (for example, while I'm browsing the lists, or the video is paused), a loud noise will start playing uninterrupted, until I hit play again, or quit the app. If I play a video while the noise is playing, the noise stops and the normal video sound plays.
This is not a freeze because the app keeps functioning normally, other than the noise, but it's quite annoying, especially at 2 AM when everyone else is asleep in the house.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue? How can I fix it, or to whom can I report this bug?

Can't update my WiiU Deluxe
Hello,
I can not update my Wii U Deluxe to the latest update.
It keeps reaching around 35-40% while downloading, then gives me Error Code 108-0068
According to the guide on support.nintendo.com it might work if I tried resuming, but it would not move it keeps giving the same error.
Another solution was to delete the uncomplete update files and update again, but there was no option to delete it like other downloads.
So in the end I erased everything, wiped, and started again hoping that a clean installation will take place, but ended up with the same result. ;/
Any ideas?

Drawing on Wii U
Why hasn't Nintendo released an update that would allow people to draw pictures in Colour? I remember when the system was first beening showed off. Someone was drawing Link in Colour on the Wii U gamepad. But every single drawing I have ever seen are basically Manga.
I love Manga but sometimes its hard to distinguish things. I Read the Naruto Manga and Bleach Manga Online.

Wii U connection
Hello, I have a deluxe Wii U that I bought shortly after launch and ever since I got it it has had problems with connecting to my internet. At first I thought it was just my Wii U but then I looked it up and saw others had been having the same trouble. The trouble with mine is that the router is two rooms away and is old so the connection isn't too good, I assume. Through trial and error and after about 7,000 times of getting an error code, I managed through the first update. The very first. But now that the new one is released, it will not update. It starts to, and about every 20 seconds gets an error code. Does anyone know what the problem is or how I could strengthen the connection from the console to the router?
None of my other electronics in the house have any trouble connecting: Wii, 3DS, kindle fire, DSi XL, and two computers, they all work fine. But the Wii U is the only one that doesn't. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Wii U speeds
Hi guys, perhaps someone can provide some insight on my problem. Prior to the April update for my Wii U, load times from menu to menu where a bit slow like most people reported, but loading games and apps was relatively quick for me. After the update now it seems to be completely reversed, menu changes are a bit quicker, but starting an app or game now takes 3x to 4x longer then it used to, completely nullifying any "speed" boost provided by the update. Is anyone in a similar boat, or are there any fixes such as re-installing apps or wiping the system and re-installing the update (if thats even an option)?
