As many of you may (or may not) know, back in 2008 or so Nintendo of Japan (but not Nintendo of anywhere else) released a special white GameCube controller (which you apparently is still in production), which had an unprecedented 3 meter cable. All other first-party controllers had 2 meter cables.
Does anyone know if the Smash-branded GameCube controller is going have a 3 meter cable?
I just got a new pro controller yesterday. It was an after glow. I have a wii u and I needed to sync the controller with the system. I did that, but when it comes to clicking on start for our wwe 14 game..the screen for tv or tv game pad comes up. now for some reason the pro controller will not let me select anything, thus I am not able to get past this screen. Am I doing something wrong, or did I miss something about the controller. I can do everything else with it, but when this box comes up, it freezes me in my tracks, thus not being able to get past it to use the controller with the wrestling game..or even getting to start the game up.

We have had the system since launch and lately the AC connector for the gamepad is loose and has trouble making a connection for charge. It looks like some of the plastic on the input has chipped away/eroded. Any suggestions?
I have a Wii U that will not do anything. I've pulled the plug, waited 30 seconds and tried to turn it back on, but it still will not respond to anything. If I turn the Wii U on from the GamePad, the GamePad will display the quick Menu, but once you hit something in the Menu, it will just display the "Wii U." I purchased the system August 1st.
I have had some issues with my system freezing over the last week, and I'm not sure if it is related to a couple of games I downloaded or not. I have checked on the web but no one else seems to have the problems I have.
On Paper Monsters Recut, I encountered this issue quite frequently with the mini games. However, the worst culprit involves Ballpoint Universe Infinite.
Every time I sit to play, at least once every session it freezes. I have to power off through the console, and start again. But it happens every single time. I have deleted and re-dowloaded it. I have tried setting the quick start menu to off, and starting the game right from the Wii U Menu. Still freezes every time.
Since this has happened with the two games I most recently bought, I am concerned that there might be a problem with my system. It was a launch one, so out of warranty.
Has anyone else had these problems with these games, or any suggestions?

Everytime I have my External Hdd hooked up to my Wii U it gives me error code: 160-2713. The error code says that the usb device has been removed, or it may not be getting enough power and I should be using a Y-cable or an ac adapter. I have an external powered western digital hard drive. I have tried disabling quick menu, didn't do anything. Tried using front usb port, didn't do anything. Tried using a y-cable with my external powered hdd, didn't do anything. Tried taking out my sd card, also didn't do anything. I played lego city undercover from the hard drive a week before the 5.0 update. eer since the update i can't even have the hard drive hooked up to my wii u. I bought MK8, and now I can't even download Pikmin 3. This is very, very frustrating. Does anybody have any ideas?

I want to buy a Wii U LAN adapter (an official Nintendo branded one), but it appears to be missing from the store. I'm told that it has been discontinued.
Is there a chance that it may come back? Are there any Canadian retailers or online stores that will sell an official Wii LAN adapter and not those weird knock-off brands?
So my GamePad has had a problem with it's touch screen and gyroscope. The accelerometer works just fine, being able to track rapid movements, but when I try playing a game such as Wind Waker HD or Sonic Lost World, the gyroscope either freaks out and starts spinning everywhere while the GamePad is motionless, or the movements are messed up where I can only move it up and down or moving to the side in inverted. The Touch Screen however, is functional when I first start up the Wii U. After getting to the password screen for my Nintendo Network ID, the Touch Screen either doesn't work at all or often registers that I always touched the bottom left hand corner of the Touch Screen. I believe that the 3DS and the Wii U share the same technology for both the gyroscope and the Touch Screen, but I have yet to come across these problems on my 3DS XL (bought the day it came out). I was hoping someone could get back to me with an explanation of what exactly is going on rather than directions to call Nintendo.
Oh man, i'm with ya. My Wii U doesn't play a SINGLE episode. Not even any other websites. I just hope NINTENDO makes a new update to fix this problem up.
I noticed today that when I went to play the Death Mountain level in Hyrule Warriors, that I got an error and told the disc was not able to be read. I cleaned the disc and honestly it looked perfect anyways. Works in my brothers Wii U and works on anywhere else. This has only happened since the patch and my brother did not BUY the season patch.... So I am suspecting a faulty patch load out. Has anyone else noticed with the Master Quest pack the loss of some Legend mode stages?

I can not update my Wii U Deluxe to the latest update.
It keeps reaching around 35-40% while downloading, then gives me Error Code 108-0068
According to the guide on support.nintendo.com it might work if I tried resuming, but it would not move it keeps giving the same error.
Another solution was to delete the uncomplete update files and update again, but there was no option to delete it like other downloads.
So in the end I erased everything, wiped, and started again hoping that a clean installation will take place, but ended up with the same result. ;/
Any ideas?
I cannot figure out how to split the output. The TV in buried in a cabinet and the audio from the TV is like listening in a drainage culvert. With my other TV attachements I simply run RCA type cables... Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks. Jimmy.

Ok so I got a Wii U recently and linked my 3DS and Wii U NNIDs. I'm hooked up to the internet and I can go to Miiverse and whatnot but I can't access my friend list on the Wii U and anytime I attempt to use something like Animal Crossing Plaza or a game that posts to Miiverse I get a "Can't connect to server" error. Also it seems that I am considered "offline" in my 3DS friend list now even though I'm clearly connected to the internet. The error is 101-0502 but nothing on the support page for that is relevant. The rest of the info the error gives me is as follows. 1. 5.2.0 U, 2. WUP-101(02), 3. FW106051104, 4. ADBI-0210-3075 . Has anyone else run into this? Any tips to fix it? If not I suppose I can live with it, it still works for the most part. Not being able to do things that interact with my friends list and what have you is kind of a huge problem though.
Like the title says, my gamepad is acting as if its R button is stuck down, while the actual hardware feels fine and doesn't seem to be damaged.
Anyone ever encounter this before?

This is my problem with the Wii U i just got for Christmas. I was going through the steps for my intial setting up of my Wii U. When I got to the part where it asked if I wanted to make a new Nintendo Network ID or if i wanted to connect and existing one.
I clicked connect an existing one. Used my log in info and then I got:
Error Code:102-2511
In order to use online services, a system update is required.
Go to System Settings to perform a system update.
So I click the only option OK
Then it brings me back to if I want to Enter my Nintendo Network ID information, with an okay or cancel. If I hit okay it just brings me to logining in nintendo Network ID info again. If I hit cancel it just brings me to if I want to make a new one of link an existing one.
At this point I the home button does nothing, I can't skip the ID set-up part and I can't get past this part of the set up. The Wii U never asked me at any point during the set up about a system update, like i am seeing in Wii U set up videos.
Can anyone help me out or do I just have to wait call nintendo in the morning or return my Wii U? I'm really rather upset. Since I waited a month and a half for this gift. Only have Christmas day off for my work week and won't be able to play with my system until MAYBE saturday if I can figure out what is up with this Wii U.
Is it possible to play a downloaded title with two different country NNIDs registered in the same system? Say, you buy and download the game with an US NNID, will I be able to play it with my Mexican NNID? (I move the system across the border constantly and been pondering to switch to digital purchases instead of physical ones, less stuff to pack up)

So I gre up playig SMB3 on the NES and have beaten it many many times. I decided to buy it for Wii U VC to play on the gamepad because I like smaller screens for these old games.
Anyways I start playing and right away I feel like mario is running in molasses. The game is just not as responsive as it should be. I can't time jumps correctly and keep dying. There is very noticable lag and it makes the game almost unplayable for me, the feel of the game is completely ruined, its no longer tight and precise...
Is there any known fix for this? Does anyone know if Nintendo is aware of this problem and are going to fix it? If not im extremely disappointed in this and don't even want to play this game as is...
