I have this very weird bug happening in Splatoon. If I use a Charger type weapon or Splatting, I will occasionally super jump without ever touching the gamepad screen. If I use any other type of weapon, it does not occur. I have deleted and reinstalled Splatoon, created another user account, even got a new gamepad, and it is still occurring.

Hyrule Warriors is a bit picky
So I suppose it started when my sister put in an unclean disc of Just Dance 2014 into the WiiU. I didn't realize it until I tried playing Hyrule Warriors when the WiiU stopped and said the game disc was dusty. Cleaned it out and everything, then I put it back in. Here's the problem: the game stops loading when I tried to load a level. Same thing, every time. I cleaned the disc and unplugged the WiiU, even set it on the side instead of the stands. Nothing.
The funny thing is, I tried playing on my friend's file (don't ask), and it works perfectly fine! I don't want to lose the progress I made though, so I'd like to avoid that if possible. Now, is the WiiU just bugging out, or would there be something wrong with just my mii file (not sure how else to phrase it)?
My wii u won't turn on with my seagate 1tb hard drive plugged in?????
so basically I bought a seagate 1tb hard drive and a y cable, it worked but while me and my friends were playing super smash bros it just cuts off and stops working. I plugged it in to my pc and it said device is working properly so it has to be the wii u. When i plug it out it works fine but now i cant get any save data from it. So when i turn it on it show the quick start menu(tried everything including turning on from the actual console) so when i try to go to a game or the wara wara plaza it shows the nintendo logo for 5-10 seconds and says could not connect to the console. I emailed nintendo awaiting reply. Wondering what you'll have to say about it. Ps when i turn it on nothing shows on the tv connection is HDMI
Limits to storage devices (SD cards, USB flash drives, & external HDD) for Wii U?
It's kind of hard to explain, but I'd just like to know if there's a limit to the size of these items that can be used. I heard that with systems in the 3DS family, only SD cards up to 32GB can be used and also something about the class, speed, and brand were recommended,. However, I have a 64GB PNY USB flash drive and an SD card which I can't recall the size at the moment, but the SD card is mainly for Wii content. Basically, I just need help with finding a storage device that's compatible with Wii U and doesn't go over any limits if there are any. It seems that this PNY flash drive is having issues like a PNY SD card did with my 3DS. I bought a SanDisk SD card and it's worked fine since. I may prefer a SanDisk flash drive. I don't know what to look into for external HDDs, though. Any help and/or recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
YouTube phantom volume control
I've had my Wii U Deluxe for about a year now and have watched YouTube from the start. Tonight, randomly, when I would change videos, a volume bar would appear on the top of the controller screen and would randomly change volume. At first it would go down until it hit zero (affecting the volume coming from the t.v. and available volume on the controller) and would bounce to random numbers with each different video. Once it changed in the middle of a video without being touched. I searched and attempted to figure it out but had no luck. Hopefully some here will have the answer I'm looking for: What is happening and how can I stop it???
Thank you!

Issue with input lag when using wiimotes?
So just today my Wii U has been troubles when I use my Wiimotes, I have been trying to use them in NES VC games and New Super Mario U, which is all normal stuff. But for some reason today my inputs all lag by a second or two and sometimes didn't even respond at all (D-Pad and the 1 & 2 buttons). My gamepad works fine, pro controller seems to work fine, and it seems the sensor bar works fine as well, even a classic controller plugged into the wii remote works fine. But for some reason the wii remote by itself gives me issues.
I don't know if it's worth noting but the last thing I was doing before having any issues with playing Mario Galaxy 2 from the Wii mode (Actual disc) so I don't know if Wii mode would have messed with anything. Please respond I really want to get this fixed for Mario Maker tomorrow.
Thank you in advance
2 NNID Accounts, Could I swap the names?
Hello, when I first got the Wii U, my father named my NNID account clanH5. I didn't really care at first, but now I see how big the NNID service has gotten, and I don't like that name. I recently made a second account with my desired name, Brocoee, but soon after, I realized there is no way to transfer purchases and data from one account to the other. Also, my clanH5 account is linked to my new 3ds xl majoras mask edition, and I can't transfer the ID to my old 3ds because they aren't compatible. I just desperately want the 2 names swapped, that way I can have my newly desired name on the same account that has all my valuable purchases and data. (gameplay logs, exclusive downloads, etc.) Is there any way the staff could access this information and switch the two names? I know I seem like a bother but it would REALLY make me glad. Please please help me, I can safely provide any information you need on either account, in case you need proof of ownership. Thankyou for reading!
Why are all my games being downloaded to the USB storage device?
Hello once again everybody. Sorry for 3 threads in less than an hour, but I'm curious about something.
You see, last night a switched my Thumb Drive for my Wii U from 2GB to 8GB. I still have, like 20-24 GB's left in the System Memory. So my question is: Why are all my games being downloaded to the USB storage device? Why can't I pick between downloading it to the System memory or the USB storage device? I downloaded Trine 2 this morning, and I didn't have enough space on my Thumb Drive to download it. So why didn't it download to the system memory instead? I had to move the ZombiU demo off the Thumb Drive to download Trine 2, which is about 2GB. I find it very odd that you can't choose to download games to the System memory or USB Storage device. I know I could always move it, but that takes a while. Was this meant to be? Is it a glitch?
Thanks once again for any help provided.

Insufficient space available (System memory) when trying to download from the eShop? Move your App Bundle to the USB Storage Device.
The problem: The eShop was erroneously declaring that I had insufficient space available, which prevented me from downloading a particular piece of software off of the eShop.
Whenever I would attempt to download Disney Infinity 1.0, the eShop would notify me that I had insufficient space to download the game. In doing so, it would call out my System Memory as the destination, which on Wii U Basic Set (with 8GB of storage) was obviously incapable of housing the 9.6GB required. However, I have attached a external USB storage device, which had 50.2GB of free space -- plenty to store the game. If I perused the software catalog and attempted to download a game which I had not previously purchased, even a large one (12.8GB for DKC:TF), the eShop would specify that the destination for this download would be the USB Storage Device.
Why would every piece of software call out the USB Storage Device as a destination and not this particular one (Disney Infinity)?
The cause: I had played Disney Infinity (off-disc) prior to adding the USB Storage Device, which has all the update and save data (which I will refer to as the “App Bundle”) on the System Memory. Because the Wii U System Software directs all storage activity to wherever an App Bundle is found — with a preference to refer to the USB Storage Device, for new software or even if an App Bundle is found in both locations (System Memory and USB Storage). As a result, attempting to download this app from the eShop would have the System Software treat this data much in the same way as if it were an update. That update would have to reside in the App Bundle, which was only found on System Memory and thus insufficient to store the entirety of the applications’ data.
The solution: In Data Management, move the App Bundle from System Memory to the USB Storage Device. Returning to the eShop, it now considers the USB Storage Device as the destination — no longer considering the System Memory at all. Yay! It doesn’t matter what the software is (I validated this solution by also attempting to download Just Dance 4, which I had played off-disc prior to adding the external storage), if the App Bundle for what you want to download is already on System Memory, it may likely be insufficient to store the game’s data. Move it to your USB Storage Device and all will be well.
The reason: Had I played Disney Infinity after adding the USB Storage Device, the Wii U would have defaulted to storing the App Bundle there. As a result, I would have been blithely ignorant of this issue, because the System Software would have downloaded the game data right to the capacious USB Storage Device.
Wii U Freezing almost every program even System Settings
Hello, like a month ago my Wii U started freezing on me. I cannot play any game, access any program (Netflix, YouTube, Downloaded Games, Disc Games). Even when trying to go to System Settings it freezes on the load screen, so I can't even do a factory reset. The only things that are working now is the Main Menu, MiiVerse and eShop and I think is because they are part of the Main Menu since they not show any load screen.
Has someone had this issue? It's been like that for over a month now. I tried disconnectig USB HDD, removing SD, leaving it disconnected all night. Nothing works. Is there someway to force a recovery mode or factory reset?
Help!
I'm from Mexico so my Wii U is in Spanish, if that makes any difference
Errors 160-4711 and 160-0105?
So, i have a wii u 8gb and a hp usb of 8gb.
When my wii u run out of space, i bought a flash drive of 8gb, i stored all of my game data in there.
Everything went fine until i saw error 160-0105 on my screen when trying to play a game.
Then, when i tried to move the data to the wii u storage or even see what was in the flash drive, i received the error 160-4711.
I just want to know why these errors happen and if there is any solution to these errors.
Also, when the wii u has no flash drive connected, the error no longer pops up, but my saves aren't there.
Even if a game has no save data on the flash drive, the error 160-0105 pops up either way if the usb is connected to the wii u.
Transferring data between two NNIDs
Hello,
I have one NNID which I have used for a while, so it has gained some save data on it along with a DLC purchase. However, I recently wanted to change my primary NNID from the one I used before to a different one because I wanted to use a different ID name. Is it possible to copy or transfer the save data linked to my first NNID to my new NNID? For example, to transfer the cups and items I unlocked on Mario Kart 8 so I would not need to unlock everything again. The NNIDs are currently set up on the same Wii U.
Error Code 165-6596 When Playing Smash 4
A week or two ago I accidentally lost the connection of the gamepad to the Wii U console when playing Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Ever since then the gamepad gets error 165-6596 whenever I play SSB and ONLY SSB; all of the Wii U's core features function fine, including the Wii emulation system. The only other game I have, New Super Mario Bros. U, works fine without ANY trouble.
I've done some research and it seems it may have to do with the Amiibo function (although I never got a chance to actually use it). Nintendo has not given a response which means this issue is either very rare (I still found a dozen victims pretty easily), or it's being ignored for some reason.
Super Mario Maker Course World Error How To Fix?
I bought super mario maker yesterday and whenever I go online in the game it says "error code 106-0502" the game works perfectly offline. I don't think it's my wi-fi because my wi-fi works with everything else like my phone and my other wii u games work online. I don't know what to do. I looked up the error code and It didn't work. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Like when I'm playing online in the middle of the game it says "a network error has occured" and then sometimes it would give an error code. I don't know what to do please help. Thanks again!
I need help.
My Wii U GamePad charger has a very large cut in it. I can charge it, but only if I fiddle around with it for a long time. Even then, I have to be very careful, because if I move the GamePad slightly while charging, it'll stop working and I have to start this all over again.
Is there any way for me to get it to work better, or for me to get a new charger in general?
Also, is there a way for me to get a long-lasting battery for the GamePad? It lasts for a very short time.
Is anyone else, having problems putting in a repair order?
I need to send in my Wii U for repairs because the Wii U Gamepad is not syncing correctly. I set up my profile, put in my serial number for the console, and then it showed my this page https://gyazo.com/ad9433b2df44abd02d7b69a0e6478291 , if that link does not work, basically, it shows me my info for the repair, and I wrote a little technicians note, and after I hit continue, it just brings me back to the exact same page, with nothing changed. It is equivalent to if I refreshed the page. Is the system just not working right now? If it is, well then I suppose I will have to wait. If it is not down or anything like that, then what is the problem? Please help me! I want to play Splatoon uninterrupted very much so.
Gamepad Backlight Issues
[Help] Wiiu Pad error code 165-2378
Today I was turning on my WiiU but it didn't recognize my external hard drive so I restarted it with my Pad. The Pad then said it faced some error 165-2378. I turned it off, and it could never be turned on again.
I was sure it had been fully charged so I tried to charge the pad but it couldn't be charged and its battery LED was always off.
Then I plugged out the pad battery, and plugged it into the pad, and the pad could be charged again since its battery LED turned to orange. However, when I turned the pad on, it still showed the error code 165-2378, though WiiU console could be turned on.
There's no information about 165-2378 on Nintendo official site. Could someone help to check what happens to my pad and is there any quick solution for it?
Downloadto usb causes Wii U to hang?
When I download a game to my WD hard drive, the Wii U usually hangs. However if I download while powered down it usually works. Anyone know why this is happening and how can I download and use the console at the same time?
Super Mario Maker - How to enable off-tv play?
Heya there,
Is off-tv play possible for this game...as it's pretty much the same screen on the tv as it is for the gamepad. It would be nice to play games when I am not using my tv or just relaxing.
Note that I do not own any other form of controller (wii controller, nunchuck, game pro etc) only the gamepad.
