Bought skylanders supercharger for the wii u. I can not get it to play in 2 player. Only the wii u game pad will play the game. The remotes are not recognized when they are on. The remotes work on every other game we own just not the skylanders game. The remote are from our original wii would this make a difference?

Broken Gamepad questions
So my Wii U Gamepad has been broken for some time now and I was wondering a few things about setting up a repair. Also It broke after the warranty ended so I know I'm not covered.
1) How much would it cost to repair it or how much does it normally cost?
The main problem is that it just doesn't turn on not even the TV remote function work. I don't think its the charger or battery cause when I plug it in the orange light turns on, but if I were to remove the plug the light stays on and it doesn't go off until I hold down the power button for a few seconds. A couple other problems I had with the Gamepad before it died would be the back light of the Gamepad would flicker like a strobe light effect, the head phone jack would need something to be plugged in for the speakers to work, and the down Left Analog and D-pad would activate at the same time when pressing one or the other (which got in the way of some games).
2) What kind of packaging do I need to use and what does it normally cost?
I have never sent anything in my life so some info on this would be nice...
3) Could I just buy a new one?
My Gamepad clearly had other problems before it stopped working and I was thinking would it be easier/cheaper to just get a new one.
So if I can get an answer to any one of these question that would be nice.
Wii U Locking Up during Standby functions
Hi all.
I've owned a Wii U Premium since launch, and over the last month, I've had an issue where the Wii U seems to get stuck, or locks up, while it's performing standby functions (when the yellow light is on). It's only happened twice, but I'm looking for advice on how to fix or prevent it from happening again.
When it happened, I noticed that my Wii U had the yellow standby light on for a long period of time (usually a few hours). If I try to start the console in this state, the blue light comes on, but the GamePad does not, there's no signal sent to the TV, and the disk tray doesn't seem to operate (at least, it doesn't make the usual noise on start-up). If I try to reset the console by holding the power button down, it won't reset. The only way I seem to be able to turn the console off is by unplugging it. When I plug it back in and press the power button, it starts up normally as if nothing happened.
Just a couple of extra notes:
- My Wii U is up to date (running firmware 5.5.0 E)
- The first time this issue happened, it was downloading the recent Hyrule Warriors update during standby (and completed the download/installation after I reset the console). When it happened today, there was no sign of anything being downloaded or installed to my system.
- I'm using an external hard drive which is about two years older than the console. It has its own power supply. I haven't activated the hidden feature that stops the hard drive turning off while the console is on.
- My Wii U connects to the Internet wirelessly.
- Originally I had set it up so that it connects to the Internet once an hour during standby. I've now set this to be six hours.
I suspect that it's either the Wii U losing connection to my router (they're fairly close together but I've had a slow network this morning when I had the problem), or it's my external hard drive being turned off before data's been properly sent/downloaded.
Has anyone else come across a similar problem?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
Wii to Wii U Transfer Error - 389012
This morning I went to transfer the save data and Miis from the Wii to Wii U. I followed the instructions below to a T.
I had no problem formatting the card on the Wii U, moved it to the Wii, transferred all the content to the SD card (animations and all of all the save data and Miis moving to the SD card). I then removed it as instructed and placed in the Wii U. I then hit next and in the process of transferring, it said the following error:
The device inserted into the SD Card slot cannot be used. Error Code: 389012
Any help would be much appreciated because as the instructions say, the data is wiped from the Wii so if I can't figure out how to get the content to our Wii U, it is lost.
Thanks!
Sd card slot broken
So one day I tried putting in my sd card it got stuck so I pressed it to get out nothing happened. The only way I got it out was forcing it out after that my sd card slot was damaged. I went to nintendo.com and checked the price for a repair (100$ for a....sd card slot repair) that is insane that is like buying 6 amiibos or more and also If I do this will I get all my data erased thanks -MrMario
System boots into standby mode frequently
Hey all, been having a weird issue with my Wii U as of late, and I haven't been able to find much help elsewhere.
I have my Wii U set to standby mode, that being the mode where the system is able to download updates from the internet while it is turned off. However, I have noticed that, lately, my console has been booting into the standby mode (where the power light turns yellow) very frequently, and on each instance that I've checked, the download history queue shows no recent downloads.
Normally this wouldn't be an issue for me, but each time the system turns on, the disc drive starts up, along with all of the internal fans. It's not loud or anything, but it's still a noise that bothers me while I'm trying to sleep. I'm also slightly worried about power usage and the wear this may be incurring upon my system's disc drive.
If it helps, I have a Deluxe 32GB Black Wii U console from the New Super Luigi U bundle released early this year. I have a 2TB wall adaptor-powered external hard drive plugged in for additional storage, along with an ethernet adaptor.
Wii U froze when I bought smash bros dlc.
Okay so I had decided to buy the Kirby64 dlc stage today, when I did it was normal at first until I exited out of viewing the recipt and back to home menu. When I did that my console just froze and nothing I pressed was working so I had to push the power button and wait for it to turn off.
So after I turned it off and then back on it seemed to be fine but when I tried to go back to eshop it was being kinda slow but I was able to get in.
My main concern is that did that damage my system or something cause that has never happned to me before.
2 NNID Accounts, Could I swap the names?
Hello, when I first got the Wii U, my father named my NNID account clanH5. I didn't really care at first, but now I see how big the NNID service has gotten, and I don't like that name. I recently made a second account with my desired name, Brocoee, but soon after, I realized there is no way to transfer purchases and data from one account to the other. Also, my clanH5 account is linked to my new 3ds xl majoras mask edition, and I can't transfer the ID to my old 3ds because they aren't compatible. I just desperately want the 2 names swapped, that way I can have my newly desired name on the same account that has all my valuable purchases and data. (gameplay logs, exclusive downloads, etc.) Is there any way the staff could access this information and switch the two names? I know I seem like a bother but it would REALLY make me glad. Please please help me, I can safely provide any information you need on either account, in case you need proof of ownership. Thankyou for reading!

Cancel Disney Infinity 2 player split screen?
Hi, is there a way for 2 players to play Disney Infinity on the Wii U without the TV split screen? We would like to have player 1 use the viewscreen on the gamepad and have player 2 use the entire screen on the TV. I contacted Disney Infinity about this and they said to contact Nintendo. TIA

Gamepad L-Stick not working correctly
The L-Stick on my Wii U Gamepad no longer works correctly. When pushing forward to move the character in game, it won't register that the stick is being pushed all the way up. Instead it makes the character move slowly across the screen as if I were only tapping the stick forward. I've tried recalibrating the L-stick by pressing + - A B all at once for at least 3 seconds, but that doesn't help. My Wii U isn't even a year old yet so I don't feel like it should be having input problems.
I was going to fill out a repair request but I figured I'd ask for help before paying a $100 fee on something that I don't think is my fault.
WiiU Error code: 150-1031?
I have three WiiU games and so far out of the three I have, only two of them work. The game I can't get to work is Sonic and Sega All-stars Racing: Transformed. I had one copy of the game disc that would just freeze at the title screen and I went back and exchanged it for another one and now when the game is loading the levels I get at least two to three error codes of: 150-1031 saying the disc is dirty and should be cleaned but the disc itself is spotless. I tried doing a search on Nintendo's website here for the error code but it is not found. Is this the WiiU's issue or the games? Do I have to go back and exchange it for a third copy???

Error Code: 115-5935 (Mario Maker)
Apparently there's something preventing people from commenting on my levels in Mario Maker. I had a friend try it out today, and he got Error Code: 115-5935. Does anyone know what this is and what I can do about it? I don't think I've blocked comments or anything, and I have no problem commenting on other people's levels.
If you want to have a look for yourself, here is one of my levels: Thwomp again! 8256-0000-0048-AE6D

Mario Maker Hard Locking
When I am playing a level of mine the system hard locks. It tends to happen when I enter a pipe or click edit, something like that.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Wii U suddenly cannot connect to any wifi
All of a sudden my wiiu cannot connect to either of my wifi connections.
I've tested it on two separate connections, every other device i've got is working on both connections.
I've tried manually configuring the setting as every site on the internet has told me to do. it has not worked. It will connect to the router but claim that router cannot connect to the internet.
My wiiu is around a week old, I'm pretty annoyed to find it's a 4 year old issue that still hasn't been fixed.
Tried
: Manually configuring wifi settings.
: Changing all manner of network settings and wifi settings on both routers.
: Turning if off and on again
: Turning off all devices using wifi in the entire building, turning the router and the wiiu off and on.
Error code 103-2001
After having frusterating times with a 103-1001 and 1003 errors, I finally changed my router's encryption to "none." I manually entered my IP, and now the Wii U will connect to the router. However, it is now not connecting to the internet. I really don't want to Power Cycle (since the router's working just fine), and I've used both my personal DNS and Google's DNS. Neither work. Is there anything else I could try?
EDIT: I have Power Cycled, and it still gives me a 103-2001 error.
Wii U Loses Internet Connection A Lot.
Hey there Nintendo Tech Support community. I'm having a lot of trouble. My Wii U keeps losing it's internet connection! I can get it back by turning my Wii U off & back on again, but eventually it'll lose connection again. I've mainly been watching videos on the Youtube app, but I had the same thing happen when I went into the Eshop, too. If I test my internet connection afterwards it will always fail. The error code I get is 103-1601; Unable to find a Wi-Fi network. It's been happening for a few days now, might even be going on a week or two, & I'm really starting to get annoyed Please, if anyone has any suggestions, I'd love to hear them. I'd appreciate it.
